Sophia Treadway developed an interest in singing at the early age of 3. At the age of 5 Sophia and family moved from California to Memphis, Tennessee. There she auditioned for a talent show showcasing her voice by singing Adele’s „Rolling In The Deep” and blew the judges away. After seeing Sophia’s potential on full display her family enlisted the expertise of Bob Westbrook a prominent vocal instructor in the area to help Sophia hone her skills.
In 2013, she began to perform at various events in the area including an introduction at the Delta Fair. In 2014, Sophia and family decided to take the next step and enter her into a national competition called IPOP. There Sophia blossomed even further as she walked away with the first place prize for her age group. Her performance caught the attention of platinum music producer Marc Williams of Indasoul Entertainment. Marc encouraged Sophia and family to embark on a project and record original material for Sophia.
Now, Sophia is ready to share her original music with the world. One of the main themes Sophia wants to express throughout her music is to just have fun and forget about all of the bad. Sophia considers herself both Latina and American and it has always been something she is proud to talk about.
