The Lecheritas es un grupo de 3 chicas a las que les encanta bailar, cantar, vestirse a la moda, divertirse y hacer todas las cosas que a cualquier chica le gusta hacer. Esta primera canción está inspirada en el juego de palmas que nuestros amigos españoles nos mostraron cuando nos trasladamos hace ya cuatro años. Es un juego de palmas tonto y divertido donde puedes crear tus propias letras. En nuestra escuela todo el mundo está picando palmas y cantando „Lecherita donde vas”, por eso hemos hecho una versión con nuestra propia letra. Algunos de nuestros amigos que son padres, nos dicen que se acuerdan de un juego parecido con ese ritmo cuando eran niños. Así que la canción tiene ya una historia pasada e identidad anclada en España. Le pedimos a la talentosa Charli (16) que interpretara este tema. Esta participación le ha añadido atractivo y fuerza a la canción y ahora no sólo gusta a la gente de nuestra edad sino también a gente más mayor. Nos sentimos muy afortunadas de ver que lo que empezó en nuestras calles y patios de colegio en del barrio, ahora se dice que es el tema del verano. El co-productor comenta: Esto no es un disco típico de música electrónica y eso es lo que hace que esté fuera de los conceptos standard de DJ. Es único y genera diversión y buen rollo! The Lecheritas is a band of 3 girls who loves to sing dance, dress up, have fun and do all the things that normal girls love to do. This first song is inspired by a clap game that our spanish friends taught us when we moved here 4 years ago. It’s a silly and fun clapping game where you can make up your own lyrics. In our school everybody is clapping and singing the word Lecherita, donde vas, and we have made a version with our own lyrics. Some of our friends parents say they remember a similar rhyme/ clap game from when they were kids. So the song carries a storyline and identity that is anchored in Spain. We asked the talented Charli (16) to feature on this record. This has added a lot of vibe and attitude to the song and now it not only appeals to our age group anymore but also to a more mature audience. We feel very lucky that what started out in our streets and playgrounds here in our neighborhood is now the most talked about record of the summer. The co-producer says: This is not a typical EDM record and thats what makes it stand out from the noise and cliche dj concepts. This is unique and it carries fun and good times!
