Eixo is an American songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer born in Brazil. For him, the emotion in the song is everything.
Influenced by the sonic innovations of indie Pop and alternative pioneers such as Phantogram, Lana Del Rey and Lorde, Eixo follows the trend of producers like David Guetta, Zedd and Calvin Harris by teaming up with different artists to realize his musical vision.
Eixo deftly combines the best elements of different electronica genres- EDM, electro pop and trip-hop included. His popular release Survive is a slow burner: emotive and reverberant, showcasing his ability to incorporate contrasting styles as he collaborates with the always inspiring rapper Boogie.
Eixo’s fresh sound is in line with a new crop of Indie Pop artists such as Allie X, Cyn, bülow, Zealyn, The Aces, Foreign Figures, Stela Cole, Lennon Stella, Mansionair, Archive, The Naked And Famous, Charlotte OC, Claire Rosinkranz. Ella Vos, Rina Sawayama and Local Natives.
