About Lidia Halloway
With a lyrical style reminiscent of diary entries and an unmistakable voice, Lydia Halloway is a pop newcomer with writing chops that compete with the best of left-field pop.
Halloway battled cancer at 21, and the surgery she needed to survive threatened to take away her singing voice ever. During her recovery, she learned to produce music and started writing the songs that would quickly amount to a viral hit in China and considerable momentum in the United States. Her debut single was added to in-store playlists at Zara, propelling her Shazam performance and earning her new fans across continents.
Drawing comparisons to pop icons like Carly Rae Jepsen and Kylie Minogue, Halloway has been selected for showcases in conjunction with Paradigm and CAA, recognized with multiple industry awards, and has headlined at the Knitting Factory in Brooklyn, all while unsigned and without management.
